Women's national team of BiH starts preparations for matches against England and Russia

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The women's football national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will gather on Monday, April 2, and thus begin preparations for the upcoming matches with Russia and England in the qualifications for the 2019 World Cup.

Coach Samira Hurem believes that our team expects difficult matches with quality opponents.

- Russia and England are stronger teams than our national team. We offered strong resistance to the English in the previous qualifications, but against such a team, it is difficult to expect that to happen every time.

As for Russia, their results have been declining recently, while we are progressing. In that regard, we believe we can win that match. They are favorites, but on our field, in front of the home crowd, and with the motivation and desire we have, we believe we can achieve a good result - said Hurem.

The match with Russia is scheduled for April 5 at 4:00 PM, and with England on April 10 at 4:00 PM. Both matches will be played at the Training Centre of the FA of BiH in Zenica.
