Zenica: Contracts signed for self-employment of veteran population, establishment of six companies supported

(Patria) - Minister for Veteran Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton Adnan Sirovica signed contracts on awarding incentives for self-employment with six members of the veteran population from Zenica, who, within the "First Business" program, have secured the right to an incentive for establishing a company in the amount of 12,000 KM.

Also, within the "Business Plus" program, five owners of companies established with the incentive of this ministry in previous years were supported, and these are companies that have maintained their registration, hired employees, and duly settled their tax obligations.



- This is proof that our veterans can also be successful entrepreneurs and secure a livelihood for themselves and their families through their work. They are not asking for anything but support and respect for what they have given during the past aggression against our homeland - said Minister Sirovica.

Under the employment program, 12 applications submitted to the public call were approved, and under the self-employment program for all variants, a total of 212, of which 138 are users of the "First Business" program, i.e., 138 new companies in Zenica-Doboj Canton, for which a total of 2.3 million KM was allocated.

Next week, contracts are planned to be signed with beneficiaries in other cities and municipalities in the Zenica-Doboj Canton.
