Several hundred Zenica residents demanded on Sunday that local authorities urgently resolve the problem of excessive air pollution in this city, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
In recent years, residents of Zenica have been suffocating in smog coming from the Mittal factory, but the authorities are doing almost nothing, or their steps are insufficient to change this situation.
Members of the Eco Forum association organized peaceful protests in front of the city administration today, where they told local authorities that they will file a lawsuit seeking to find those responsible for the catastrophically poor environmental situation in Zenica, reports NAP.
