Woman kills husband in apartment in Alipašino Polje

(Patria) - A man was killed overnight in the Sarajevo neighborhood of Alipašino Polje, and his wife has been arrested.

- On September 11, 2024, at approximately 3:25 AM, the Novi Grad Police Station was notified that the crime of murder had been committed against 58-year-old S.J. from Sarajevo in an apartment on Trg nezavisnosti Street, Novi Grad municipality.

Death was confirmed by a doctor from the Sarajevo Canton Institute for Emergency Medical Assistance. The on-site investigation, led by the duty prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, was conducted by police officers of the Police Administration of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior. The body of the deceased was transported to the "Bare" morgue, where an autopsy will be performed at the prosecutor's order.

His wife, Dž.J., born in 1976 in Sarajevo, where she also resides, is being linked to the commission of the criminal offense of Murder (Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina). She has been brought to official premises and will undergo criminal processing during the day. Police officers are working on clarifying and documenting this criminal offense.
