Earthquake in Bosnia and Herzegovina, epicenter near Zenica

(Patria) - An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale struck the area near Zenica today at 12:19 PM.

According to information released by the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC), the epicenter of the earthquake was 17 kilometers north of Zenica, at a depth of 9 kilometers.

Citizens are urged to be cautious and are advised to follow safety measures in case of aftershocks.

Zenica is located in a seismically active area, and such earthquakes are relatively common. Experts remind that it is important to be prepared and know how to act during and after an earthquake.
