Željo seeks sixth trophy, Krupa first in club history

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Željezničar players host Krupa today at Grbavica in the first leg of the BiH Cup final.

For the club from Grbavica, this is an opportunity to reach a record sixth trophy in the BiH Cup, while reaching the final is already the greatest success in Krupa's club history.

The Blues enter today's match as favorites, but the Blues' coach Admir Adžem calls for caution, stating that his team faces a demanding game.

Their opponent has directed all its efforts towards the Cup, but Adžem believes his players can achieve victory. He emphasizes that he would like that victory to be without conceding a goal.

- Krupa is a good team, they have directed all their efforts towards the Cup, but I believe our team has the strength to emerge victorious from this two-leg tie. We hope to achieve a victory, preferably without conceding a goal, which would make our job easier in the return leg – said Adžem.

Željezničar and Krupa have played four matches this season, with Željezničar being slightly more successful with two wins. Krupa won the last encounter 2-0.

Adžem believes his players will perform much better than a few days ago in Krupa na Vrbasu.

Regarding the squad, Adžem will not have problems with yellow cards. However, he points out that several players are “feeling the consequences” after the duel with Zrinjski.

Željezničar's defender Daniel Graovac also believes that a victory without conceding a goal against Krupa would be the best option.

- There will be no shortage of energy, finals are not played every day. We will give our all for a win – said Graovac.

Krupa's head coach Slobodan Starčević emphasized that reaching the final is the culmination of the careers of both individuals and the club.

- We face Željezničar at home, who is certainly the favorite and whose primary goal is winning the Championship League. But, I also believe they will not enter this match with little desire, that they will show they can fight successfully on two fronts and achieve a positive result.

We are rested, we have analyzed Željezničar and our shortcomings in detail, and I hope that through such an approach we can achieve a good result that will give us hope for the return leg and allow us to try to decide the winner of the BiH Cup in front of our audience – said Starčević.

The match Željezničar – Krupa will be played today at the Grbavica stadium starting at 5:30 PM. The return leg will be played on May 9th at the stadium in Krupa na Vrbasu.
