Željezničar, Sarajevo and Zrinjski play Europa League matches tonight

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The remaining three Bosnian representatives in Europe will play their first matches of the 2nd qualifying round of the Europa League tonight.

First on the pitch will be the footballers of Zrinjski, who will host Valletta. The Plemići will have a chance to save face against the champions of Malta after years without a triumph on the European stage. The match in Mostar starts at 7 PM.

- They are no longer fishermen, clerks or bankers, they are really players who are engaged in professional football and deserve respect. If I were to speak in percentages, I would give a slight advantage to us - said the coach of the Mostar side, Ante Miše.

Željezničar will host Apollon at Grbavica. The Cypriots are indeed a very tricky opponent, they have been playing in the group stage of the Europa League for years, and for the winner of the BiH Cup from last season, it will be a very difficult task to secure a place in the third qualifying round. The match is scheduled to start at 8:30 PM.

- I won titles with Apollon, and I was also the team's coach for two years. It is a big club with a wealthy owner, they regularly participate in the group stage of the Europa League, and they have fantastic fans. However, I have no emotions, I believe in my players and the support of the fans, and I think they are slight favorites. They said they are not paying attention to the atmosphere at Grbavica, and we will try to use that for motivation. They are not aware of where they have come - said Željezničar coach Slobodan Krčmarević.

Sarajevo has the least chance of advancing, as they face Atalanta. The Bordeaux team practically begins an almost impossible mission in Reggio Emilia. The Serie A representative is a big favorite in tonight's duel, however, Husref Musemić is not without his trumps. This match also starts at 8:30 PM.

- I quoted the late director Svetozar Vujović to the players: 'They don't fly, they also walk on the ground'. We need to give our maximum and play as well as possible - said Musemić before leaving for Italy.
