Željezničar also defeated by a Croatian fourth-division team in a friendly match

(Patria) - FK Željezničar played another friendly match during preparations in Međugorje. The Blues faced Croatian lower-league side Neretvanac from Opuzen today, with the final score being 1:0 in favour of the Croatian lower-league team, which competes in the fourth tier of Croatian football (3. HNL - South).

Thus, after Međugorje, a Bosnian third-division team, Željezničar also suffered a defeat against Croatian fourth-division side Neretvanac.

Željezničar had more of the play at the start of the match, but without real chances. In the 12th minute, there was a scramble in front of the goal of the team from Opuzen, but ultimately an offside position.

In the 14th minute, Drljo crossed from a corner, but then a foul in the attack by Selimović. After that, a lull on the pitch for almost 20 minutes.

New excitement was recorded in the 30th minute; Drljo was in a good position, but the Neretvanac goalkeeper came out on top. Six minutes later, Karić tried from 30 metres, the ball going far from the goal.

The Neretvanac team also did not create any clear-cut chances, so the teams went to the break with the score at 0:0.

The second half started better for the team from Opuzen, and the reward came in the 57th minute of the match. Zubac scored for 0:1 after a nice move by Neretvanac.

An extremely poor performance by Bruno Akrapović's chosen ones in the second half, and a serious chance in front of the goal of the team from Opuzen was seen in the 72nd minute when Zubanović tried, but it remained 0:1.

In the 79th minute, Zubac could have increased Neretvanac's lead, but Mulalić saved the team from Grbavica with a brilliant intervention; three minutes later, Dubačkić also tried for Željezničar, without trouble for the goalkeeper of the team from Opuzen.

Until the end of the match, Željezničar tried to at least equalise, but they did not succeed, and Neretvanac celebrated with a 1:0 result.
