Željezničar lost to Nefči and said goodbye to Europe

(Patria) - Željezničar was defeated in the second leg of the 2nd qualifying round of the Conference League away in Baku by Nefči with a score of 2:0, and the 'Plavi' said goodbye to participation in Europe this season.

Željezničar has ended its participation in Europe for this season. Nefči was stronger than the 'Plavi' and advanced with a total score of 4:2.

Nefči started the match well. They immediately pressured Željezničar, but Nermin Bašić's team withstood the initial attacks of the home team without any problems.

Then the play moved to the home team's half. Haris Ovčina missed the first serious chance in the 17th minute, but Brkić saved well.

And then in the 20th minute, Nefči took the lead. Lebon found Kenneth Saief, who went one-on-one with Muftić and easily beat him for the home team's 1:0 lead.

The hosts then threatened through Matias after a corner, and then in the 30th minute, Lebon escaped the 'Plavi' defense, but Edin Cocalić intervened with a phenomenal save at the last moment.
