
(Patria) - Clear and sunny weather prevailed across Bosnia and Herzegovina over the weekend. In the morning, most of the country experienced pleasantly warm conditions, but during the day it was hot everywhere except at high mountains.
In the coming days, air temperatures will be significantly above average. Due to high temperatures, a red meteoalarm is in effect until Thursday (15.08.). From Thursday until the end of the week, maximum temperatures will be two to three degrees lower.
On Wednesday and Thursday, brief local showers are possible in Bosnia during the afternoon hours. Thunderstorms and hail cannot be ruled out in these situations.
Minimum air temperatures will range between 20°C and 26°C in Bosnia, and up to 28°C in southern Herzegovina. Maximum daily temperatures mostly between 35°C and 40°C. Locally, maximum temperatures in the south and north of the country may rise to 42°C.
At the beginning of next week (19.08.), according to current forecast materials, rain is possible, which could be more abundant in some areas.
In the rest of the week, mostly stable and sunny weather. Local showers are possible in central areas.
Morning temperature in Bosnia mostly between 14°C and 19°C, in Herzegovina up to 23°C. Highest daily temperature from 28°C to 33°C, in the south of the country up to 36°C.
