Due to the Sarajevo-Široki Brijeg match, traffic will be suspended for several hours; use alternative routes

(Patria) - The Ministry of Transport of Sarajevo Canton has given consent to FC Sarajevo for a temporary change in traffic regime on Sunday, 18 February 2024, from 10:30 to 15:30 due to the match between FC Sarajevo and NK Široki Brijeg.

The change applies to Patriotske lige Street - the bypass next to the Olympic Stadium "Asim Ferhatović Hase", from Patriotske lige Street to Betanija Street, in order to implement security measures for the football match.

The change consists of a complete traffic suspension in Patriotske lige Street - the bypass next to the Olympic Stadium "Asim Ferhatović Hase" from Patriotske lige Street to Betanija Street during the specified time, except for escorted vehicles, police vehicles, fire trucks, medical service vehicles, and other utility vehicles serving citizens.

The alternative traffic route during the suspension is Betanija Street, from the junction with Alipašina road to the junction with Patriotske lige road - the branch next to the Pionirska dolina Zoo.

Traffic flow regulation on the section of complete traffic suspension and at intersections where traffic is directed to alternative routes will be carried out by members of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior.

By the Ministry's decision, and for a functional and safe traffic suspension, it is necessary to ensure the presence of stewards from the organizer and police officers at all traffic diversion intersections.
