Drive carefully due to road conditions, short delays at border crossings

(Patria) - Due to light rain that fell during the night or is still falling in some places, BIHAMK advises drivers to drive more carefully and adjust their driving to the current road conditions. Maintain distance between vehicles and be sure to use seat belts.

"Due to construction work on the noise barrier on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, traffic is being diverted to the overtaking lane. Works are also ongoing on the main roads Semizovac-Olovo and Jablanica-Prozor.

We remind you that traffic for all vehicles up to 3.5 tons of total mass is allowed on the Jablanica-Blidinje road.

Delays for passenger vehicles at border crossings are currently short. Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum allowed mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are being redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing. Trucks can travel through the Šepak border crossing from 9 AM to 1 PM and from 10 PM to 6 AM (on weekends, they can cross between 10 PM and 6 AM)", stated BIHAMK.
