Traffic slowed on some roads due to snow

(Patria) - In lower areas, the road surface is mostly wet, while there is snow on the road surface on sections in higher mountainous areas. Due to snow on the road, traffic for freight vehicles has been suspended on the main roads Vlasenica-Han Pijesak (Han Pogled) and Ljubogošta-Podromanija. Due to snow, traffic is slowed on the roads: Bugojno-Kupres (Koprivnica), Šuica-Livno, Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje-Prozor (Makljen), Mliništa-Glamoč, Novo Selo-Strojice-Kupres and Kotor Varoš-Teslić.

Movement of all vehicles is prohibited over the bridge on the main road Dobro Polje-Miljevina. Vehicles with a total mass of up to 3.5 tons may use the roads via Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of gravel road), while freight vehicles must travel via Rogatica and Ustiprača.

Due to construction works on the main road Tomislavgrad-Prisoje, traffic is moving in one lane with traffic lights set from 00-24 hours.

Construction of a noise barrier is underway on the section of the A-1 motorway Sarajevo north-Podlugovi, due to which traffic has been redirected to the passing lane.

Due to monitoring works of the surrounding soil on the section of the A-1 motorway Sarajevo west-Lepenica, in the zone of the Lepenica interchange and the Igman tunnel, traffic is moving in both directions, in the right lane.

On the main road Jablanica-Blidinje, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while for vehicles over 3.5 tons, traffic remains suspended.

Traffic is suspended for all vehicles on the main road Šamac-Grebnica due to the rehabilitation of the railway crossing. Alternative routes are in operation.

At border crossings, passenger vehicles do not wait longer than 30 minutes.

Due to passenger registration under the new system of entry and exit from European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer delays at border crossings are possible.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all categories of vehicles. At the Šepak border crossing, traffic is prohibited for all freight vehicles.
