Due to holidays, there will be no traffic disruptions through the Vranduk tunnel tomorrow and on Saturday

(Patria9 - Due to rain that fell during the night in most of BiH, traffic is on wet roads, while on sections in valleys we warn of reduced visibility due to fog.  We appeal to drivers to be as careful as possible, to maintain distance between vehicles, and to strictly adhere to coronavirus protection measures, BIHAMK reported.

Due to rehabilitation works on the bridge on the A-1 Visoko-Kakanj highway section (near Dobrinje), traffic is suspended and diverted to two-way traffic on the opposite lane.  

The same traffic regime (two-way traffic on the opposite lane) is also in effect on the A-1 Lepenica-Tarčin highway section, where regular maintenance works are underway in the tunnels: Vis, 25.novembar, and Grab.

On the Zenica-Nemila main road  (through the Vranduk tunnel)  traffic is two-way from 5 AM to 9 PM. From 9 PM to 12:30 AM, vehicles are allowed to pass alternately, while from 12:30 AM to 5 AM, traffic through the tunnel is suspended. During the suspension, vehicles up to 7.5 tons of total weight can use the detour through the settlement of Tetovo, and vehicles over 7.5 tons can use the alternative routes Doboj-Šićki Brod- Sarajevo and Žepče-Zavidovići-Olovo-Sarajevo.  Due to the May 1st holiday,  tomorrow (Friday) and on Saturday, there will be no traffic disruptions through the Vranduk tunnel.

Due to rehabilitation works in the Vinac tunnel  (Jajce-Donji Vakuf) from 7 AM to 8 PM, traffic is alternating - one lane. From 8 PM to 7 AM, traffic is diverted to the bypass around the tunnel.

On the Crna Rijeka-Mrkonjić Grad regional road (Bjelajce), traffic is suspended due to ongoing works and diverted to alternative routes.

We also highlight other sections where the traffic regime has been changed due to rehabilitation works: Tuzla-Orašje, Jelah-Doboj, Donja Orahovica-Šićki Brod, Prozor-Jablanica, Sarajevo-Vogošća, Bugojno-Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, and Sarajevo-Trnovo.

Increased traffic of freight vehicles is observed at the entrance to BiH at the Bosanska Gradiška border crossing. There are no longer delays at other border crossings.

In the RS area, a complete curfew is in effect from 8 PM to 5 AM.  The curfew during the May 1st holiday in the RS area  will last from Friday, May 1st, at 12 PM to Saturday, May 2nd, at 5 AM. Also, from Saturday at 12 PM to Sunday at 5 AM, and from Sunday at 12 PM to Monday at 5 AM.
