Rail traffic also hampered due to floods in BiH

(Patria) - Heavy rainfall in Bosnia and Herzegovina has caused problems in rail traffic, in addition to road traffic. As confirmed to Patria by Željeznice FBiH, two trains were temporarily stopped near Nemila and Zavidovići because the track was flooded.

A train that was supposed to depart from Banja Luka was running shorter from Doboj towards Sarajevo, but it was also stopped because water covered the tracks.

Due to landslides and activated mudslides, traffic has been suspended on the main roads M-4 Banja Luka – Prijedor in Ramići, M-4 Banja Luka - Čelinac in Marjanovac, as well as on the regional road R-473 Teslić - Tedin Han in Kamenica.

Due to a large amount of water on the road, traffic has been suspended on the main road M-15 Prijedor - Sanski Most in Žeger, as well as on the regional roads: Banovići - Zavidovići (in Breštica), Cazin - Gata (in Tržačka Raštela), and Cazin - Stijena - Ljusina.

Due to water on the road, traffic is difficult on the main roads: M-16.1 Banja Luka - Prnjavor at the entrance to Prnjavor, M-15 Prijedor - Sanski Most in Čarakovo, and M-5 Jajce - Mrkonjić Grad in Jezero.

Heavy rainfall is slowing down and hindering traffic on other sections in BiH as well.
