Traffic disruptions and suspensions due to new snow

Due to new snowfall, a ban on traffic for trucks is in effect on the M-14.2 Bosanski Petrovac-Oštrelj road, according to BIHAMK, reports Patria.

- On other roads, traffic is proceeding on predominantly wet surfaces with occasional packed snow in higher mountain areas. We highlight the following roads: Sarajevo-Olovo-Kladanj, Sarajevo-Vlasenica-HanPijesak, Gornji Vakuf-Prozor, Kotor Varoš-Teslić, Turbe-Banja Luka, and Gacko-Tjenište. Due to low temperatures, icy conditions are possible, so we urge drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment, which is legally mandatory until April 15 - BIHAMK states.

We draw attention to frequent landslides of earth or stones onto the road, and we particularly highlight the following roads: Tuzla-Bijeljina, Bugojno-Novi Travnik, Sarajevo-Foča, and Jajce-Banja Luka.

Due to repair works on the damaged M-18 Brod na Drini-GP Hum main road, traffic is suspended several times a day for up to 30 minutes. Half-hour traffic suspensions are also in effect until 4 PM on the regional road R-442a Hadžići-Igman (Crvene stijene location).

On the A1 highway, traffic is proceeding on predominantly wet surfaces, with no extraordinary restrictions.
