Due to Lagumdžija's statement that the SDP now has the mayor of Sarajevo, Elvis Kondžić left Ivo Komšić

USD has now, after several metamorphoses, entered the SDP - fine! But Lagumdžija's statement that the SDP now has a mayor is the peak! That should be removed. Well, as of today I am no longer an advisor to the Mayor of Sarajevo! Moving on... wrote on his Facebook profile Elvis Kondžić, advisor for international relations to the Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria. 

Just a few hours after this status, Kondžić, otherwise a cadre of the SDA, wrote that he works in Consulting, services and trade. 

Elvis Kondžić was once a curator of the Museum of Alija Izetbegović. After that, in 2009, he worked on the campaign for Bakir Izetbegović, in the race for president of the SDA.

He then was an employee in the Parliament of the Federation of BiH, specifically an advisor to the then Chairman of the House of Representatives Denis Zvizdić, and in 2011, after Ivo Komšić was elected mayor, he was appointed his advisor for international cooperation and European integration. 

Judging by the status, outraged by Lagumdžija's statement that after the unification of the two left-wing parties, the SDP now has its own mayor, Kondžić decided to resign, or the statement of the still current SDP president is just an "excuse" to leave for a better advisory position, given his good connections and relations with Denis Zvizdić and Aljoša Čampara, the deputy mayor of Sarajevo.

Čampara will also most likely no longer be in that position because he is interested in the position of minister of the FMUP, and Kondžić, thanks precisely to the Zvizdić-Čampara tandem, was also employed in the mayor's cabinet.

Kondžić is, without disputing his human and professional qualities, just one in a series of examples of how the SDA easily places its cadres in cushy jobs, and therefore it is now only a mystery which new advisory position and in whose cabinet will be assigned to Kondžić.
