Due to rain, footballers did not train, a tough match with the Finns awaits us

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - BiH national football team travels to Finland tomorrow where they play a match on Saturday, and on June 11th they visit Italy as part of the EURO qualifiers. National team player Ervin Zukanović spoke about the Finnish striker Teemu Pukki. Today's training session, which was supposed to be held at the Grbavica stadium, was cancelled due to rain that fell for more than two hours.

“He has scored many goals in the English Championship, has good statistics and experience. He will certainly represent a certain danger to our goal. However, they are compact as a team and are characterized by fighting spirit. We must respond in a similar way and be aggressive and compact. We can say that Pukki is the most dangerous, but they are very good as a team and haven't lost at home for a long time,” said Zukanović.

He also added that most of the players have had long and strenuous seasons.

“It was more important to refresh ourselves and mentally prepare for the upcoming matches. It will be a tough match for both the Finns and us, and we must be ready and focused. This is one of our key matches, and we must perform it in the best possible way.”
