Summary data: 33 people infected in HNK, 16 cases of coronavirus in ZHK

MOSTAR, (Patria) - In the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, 33 people are infected with the Covid-19 virus, of which 22 are from Konjic, ten from Mostar, and one from Čitluk.

"In the past 24 hours, 45 people were tested for the presence of the Covid-19 virus, and seven tests were positive. Five infected people are from Široki Brijeg, one from Ljubuški, and one from Konjic," said the director of the Public Health Institute of HNK, Nermin Avdić.

He stated that there are currently 11 patients in the isolation ward of the Clinic for Infectious Diseases in Mostar, five of whom are on ventilators, while two people are recovering.

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus epidemic in the West Herzegovina Canton, a total of 37 people have been tested so far, and 16 of them are positive. About a thousand citizens of that canton are in self-isolation.
