SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The House of Representatives of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina amended and supplemented its Rules of Procedure to enable sessions to be held online and avoid health risks, in line with the current situation regarding COVID-19.
The session has concluded.
The date of the next session has not been set, but it was stated that it will be held very soon.
We recall that earlier, the Speaker of the House, Mirsad Zaimović, stated in an interview with Patria that 55 deputies are attending today's session in order to comply with the recommendations of health experts.
The urgency of holding sessions was conditioned by the adoption of the budget rebalance and the Proposal of the Law on Mitigating Negative Economic Consequences during the Coronavirus Pandemic.
The House of Peoples will hold an extraordinary session on Wednesday to amend its Rules of Procedure.
This will create the conditions for the parliamentary houses to hold sessions and adopt the aforementioned rebalance and the Proposal of the Law.
From the Government and the Parliament, we have heard messages that everything should be concluded this week, or at the latest next week.
