Football season in BiH concluded: Borac, Sarajevo, Velež, and Široki to Europe, Radnik and Olimpik relegated

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The BiH Premier Football League for the 2020/21 season has concluded.

Borac of Banja Luka is the champion, Sarajevo is the Cup winner, and Velež and Široki will also go to Europe. Radnik from Bijeljina and Olimpik Sarajevo, who withdrew from the league several rounds before the end, will go to a lower tier of competition.

Velež defeated Mladost away today 1-0 and confirmed their place on the European stage. Zrinjski and Široki Brijeg also celebrated victories, the team from Mostar against Tuzla City 2-1 away, and it turned out to be a pyrrhic victory, while Široki, who celebrated against Radnik in Bijeljina 2-0, goes to Europe due to a better record. 

Sloboda and Borac drew in a goalless match, while in a game without competitive significance, Željezničar players defeated Krupa 3-0.

The match involving Olimpik Sarajevo will be registered as a 3-0 win for the team from Sarajevo.
