House of Representatives to discuss initiative to dismiss SNSD officials from Council of Ministers

(Patria) - The 23rd emergency session of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament has been scheduled for today, starting at 11:00 AM.

The agenda includes only one item - the Initiative for a vote on the reconstruction of the BiH Council of Ministers - dismissal of deputy ministers in the BiH Council of Ministers: Aleksandar Goganović, Deputy Minister of Defence; Ognjen Janjić, Deputy Minister of Communications and Transport, and Marijana Mojić, Deputy Minister of Civil Affairs.

The initiators of the motion to dismiss SNSD officials from the BiH Council of Ministers are the club chairpersons of the SDP BiH Saša Magazinović, NiP Nihad Omerović, NS-BHI KF Sabina Ćudić, as well as representatives Jasmin Imamović, Albin Muslić, Rejhana Dervišević, Ermina Salkičević-Dizdarević, Denis Zvizdić, Mia Karamehić-Abazović, Predrag Kojović, and Aida Baručija.

In their justification for the initiative, they stated that recent political developments entitle them to claim that "the coalition gathered around SNSD, led by Milorad Dodik, is undermining peace and security in BiH and the region through unconstitutional actions".

They also state that even before the latest events, they witnessed attempts to block the European path by representatives of SNSD and their coalition partners, thereby violating the agreement which entailed the adoption of European laws and a series of decisions by the Council of Ministers of BiH that ensure significant progress on the European path, in the interest of all citizens of BiH.

The Council of Ministers of BiH informed the House of Representatives that it was informed about the Request to initiate a vote on the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers of BiH at its session in mid-March.

The SNSD parliamentary group informed the Collegium of the House of Representatives that it is unable to attend the emergency session, as today, they stated, is the Day of the Police of Republika Srpska. They considered it incomprehensible that the Serb member of the Collegium did not take into account that April 4th is celebrated as the Day of the Police of Republika Srpska.

On the initiative of a group of representatives who proposed the dismissal of deputy ministers from SNSD in the BiH Council of Ministers, the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliament made a decision on February 25th to dismiss ministers from that party in the BiH Council of Ministers - Staša Košarac from the position of Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH and Srđan Amidžić from the position of Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH.

The proposal for the dismissal of Košarac and Amidžić was on the agenda of the emergency session of the House of Peoples, held two days ago, but before the item was considered, the session was interrupted because three SNSD delegates from the Club of the Serb People left, thereby "breaking" the quorum for work.
