FBiH Government Session, Will the Decree on Payment of Aid Due to Increased Cost of Living Finally Be Published?

(Patria) - The FBiH Government will hold a session today, and all provisions of the Decree on Payment of Aid Due to Increased Cost of Living, which the Government adopted on December 11 and then declared confidential, should finally be known. At the end of last week, the Employers' Association of FBiH pointed out that they had been provided with the Decree, with a request not to disclose details to the public.

For the Decree to enter into force, it must be published in the Official Gazette of FBiH. However, given that the Decree is also linked to the minimum wage, the FBiH Government should also determine the amount of the minimum wage for 2025 at today's session. For 2024, this amount was 619 KM. It is expected that the minimum wage for 2025 will be higher.

Before the Government session, the Economic and Social Council for the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was constituted last week, will convene.

The ESC stated that, among other things, the session will consider the Proposal for a decree on
minimum earnings of employees in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the Proposal for the adoption of a decree on the maximum increase in electricity prices in 2025.
