Boris Johnson's fiancée recovering from coronavirus infection

(Patria) – The fiancée of British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, Carrie Symonds, who is pregnant, also has symptoms of the coronavirus.

Carrie (32) says she is recovering and feeling stronger after 7 days spent in bed with symptoms and ailments typical of COVID-19.

- Last week I spent in bed with the main symptoms of the coronavirus. I haven't been tested, but I feel better now. Being pregnant with the coronavirus is, of course, worrying. I urge other women who are pregnant to read and follow the updated guidelines that I myself found reassuring, Carrie explained.

Prime Minister Johnson (55) remains in self-isolation due to a high temperature, now more than 7 days since he tested positive for the virus.

Johnson and Symonds announced in February that they are engaged and expecting a child.
