(Patria) - With a peaceful protest in front of the cantonal government building, employees in judicial institutions of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (HNK) began a warning strike today.
From the Unified Union of State Servants and Employees of the Judiciary of HNK, they explained that the strike will be held every working day from 9:00 to 10:50 AM until an agreement is reached or union demands are met.
As the main reason for the strike, the Union cites low wages that do not keep up with the rising cost of living. Additionally, employees in judicial institutions of HNK are demanding the introduction of compensation for job complexity.
