
(Patria) - Newly appointed Deputy Commander of EUFOR in BiH, Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana of the Italian Armed Forces, visited the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH where he met with the Director of the Directorate, Enes Karić, and his Deputy, Đuro Knežević.
Brigadier General Marco Pucciatti of the Carabinieri, who is visiting Carabinieri units serving in EUFOR, also attended the meeting. Director Karić informed the guests about the responsibilities and organizational structure of the Directorate, as well as the role it plays in the security sector of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Activities undertaken and continuously carried out by the Directorate to build its capacities, reflected in the procurement of material and technical resources and the organization of training for police officers, were presented.
Brigadier General Uberto Incisa di Camerana expressed his conviction that the successful cooperation and communication with the Directorate so far will continue in the future. He emphasized EUFOR's readiness in BiH to participate in preserving a secure environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina in accordance with its mission.
The Directorate and EUFOR remain committed to the common goal of maintaining a safe and stable environment in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Western Balkan region, which can only be achieved through dialogue, joint action, and mutual respect.
