Law on Salaries of Civil Servants Adopted in the House of Peoples

(Patria) - The House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH unanimously adopted the Bill on Amendments to the Law on Salaries and Allowances in BiH Institutions at an urgent session.

The law is aimed at protecting employees – civil servants, police officers, and professional military personnel – from the consequences of budget delays, allowing the right to salary increases to take effect from January 1st of the current year, regardless of budget adoption delays.

Delegates emphasized that the law resolves the issue of employee damages due to non-compliance with the budget calendar and stressed the need to monitor inflation and adjust the salary base. Union representatives attended the session and supported the law.
