UN Security Council session on BiH scheduled

(Patria) - The UN Security Council has scheduled its semi-annual discussion on the situation in BiH for May 12, starting at 10 AM local time in New York, and 4 PM BiH time.

There is no official information yet on who will address the session on behalf of BiH. The previous practice was for the Chairman of the BiH Presidency to do so, and currently, Denis Bećirović holds that position.

In addition, the report of the High Representative Christian Schmidt will be read at the Security Council session, and it is unknown whether he will address the session.

The previous debate, held on October 31 of the previous year, was marked by different speaker stances, but also a significant change in the rhetoric of the US representative to this body.
