Joint Ventures of "Energoinvest" and "Končar"

Bosnia and Herzegovina's Energoinvest and Croatia's Končar today formally finalized an agreement for joint ventures in third markets, reports Anadolu Agency (AA). 

Darinko Bago, President of Končar's Management Board, and Enes Čengić, Director of Energoinvest, signed a business cooperation agreement today at Končar's business center in Zagreb, whereby these two renowned companies have agreed to cooperate in the fields of engineering, equipment production, and project execution, primarily in "third markets," meaning countries outside the region, it was announced from Energoinvest.

- We must realistically assess our position and what the markets offer. We are aware that our two companies have represented competition to major global players in the past, and today we must focus on what Končar can offer Energoinvest and vice versa, in order to form a successful tandem in the markets. We are small on our own, but with Končar, I am convinced that opportunities for new business are opening up for us. We will fight for every job with our knowledge and technologies, and this cooperation, this modern approach, allows us a stronger position and offering to potential investors," said Enes Čengić, director of the BiH company. 

Both companies have a long and rich business tradition, and today's agreement is just one step further in approaching third markets.  

- Končar and Energoinvest have a long and rich tradition in various fields of operation. The agreement we signed today is a step further in cooperation on joint projects and offering in third markets. We expect that the complementarity of the product range and presence in certain markets will contribute to new business for mutual satisfaction," said Darinko Bago, President of Končar's Management Board, on the occasion of the signed agreement.
