(Patria) - Today, a Loan Agreement (Corridor 5c Project – Doboj Bypass) will be signed between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) worth 210 million euros.
The signatories are the President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Suma Chakrabarti, and the Minister of Finance and Treasury of BiH, Vjekoslav Bevanda.
Earlier, Prime Minister Denis Zvizdić spoke about this project and how proud they are to have reached an agreement with the EBRD on financing the new section of Corridor 5c – the Doboj Bypass – in the amount of 210 million euros.
“Of course, there are also opportunities for investment in the construction of railway infrastructure, as well as the improvement and modernization of our airports and the introduction of new air routes, especially in our region, which would contribute to better connectivity for our businessmen.
It is also important to mention gas infrastructure and our intentions to diversify the supply of natural gas – both from the east and from the west, connecting with Croatia. The investment value is 100 million euros, and we expect interested partners for this project as well,” Zvizdić emphasized.
