Zaimović: SDA will not join state government, SNSD is unacceptable

(Patria) - Mirsad Zaimović, head of the SDA Club in the House of Representatives of the Federation and vice-president of SDA, spoke to FTV about whether there will be changes in the structure of government at the state level.

"It depends on what level. So, we are in power at the level of several cantons, when it comes to the Federation, we are in opposition there. And when it comes to the state level, it's a question that made many of us laugh when the representatives of the Trojka [Trojka coalition] started, out of fear of losing their own positions, to spin in the public that we are saving Dodik.

We would not save either the Trojka or Dodik. SDA will not join the government with Dodik. We expect initiatives for the dismissal of other ministers to come. First and foremost, the representatives of the Trojka owe all of us an explanation of where they spent two years, why they said Dodik was the best solution, why they gave so many positions to Dodik, and why they allowed him to curse genocide," says Zaimović.

He adds that they do not want to enter into any serious discussions with him about forming a government.

"We are not thinking about who is acceptable or not, now the Council of Ministers as it is is unacceptable. We will talk with the opposition from RS. The leadership of the Trojka should explain to the people and apologize to those they promised that we have a new Dodik and a Council of Ministers for European Integration.

We recently had a request for the dismissal of Košarac, and the Trojka saved them then. We are in a deadlock, those who created it should think about it and get us out of this political environment.

They bear responsibility for everything that has happened. SDA's position is that if any member of the existing government comes up for a vote of no confidence, SDA will support it. To make the necessary changes in order to move towards progress. I think the international community has become convinced that there are no adequate and experienced partners here," said Zaimović.
