Thanks to Centar Municipality, Association Autism in BiH has new premises

Members of the association Autism in BiH welcomed April 2nd - World Autism Day in a cheerful mood. Namely, on April 2nd, 2015, the association Autism in BiH officially opened new premises at Čekaluša Street 43, which will significantly facilitate their work in the future, reports the Patria News Agency.

The Centar Municipality provided the Association with the premises for use at a symbolic price, and the opening was attended by advisors Mustafa Resić and Edina Muslić on behalf of Mayor Dževad Bećirević.

-The Centar Municipality, led by Mayor Dževad Bećirević, has greatly assisted us. They understood our needs, therefore we thank them for their immense support. Without that help, we would not be here today. Until now, we worked in the apartment of one of our therapists. The opening of these premises is the opening of hope for families and children with autism spectrum disorder, stated Aida Šahmanović, president of the association Autism in BiH.

Advisor Resić emphasized during the opening of the new premises in Čekaluša that the Centar Municipality continues its path of supporting this association.

-This year, we will also allocate certain financial resources to help the work of the association Autism in BiH, said Resić, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
