SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Opposition representatives in the National Assembly of Republika Srpska Draško Stanivuković, Nebojša Vukanović and Jelena Trivić stated tonight that they have three demands - that they be allowed to protest on the main city square, that adequate measures be taken to solve the environmental problem in „Incel“, and the third demand is that the diplomas of all employees in the public sector be published.
Vukanović pointed out that he is disappointed that young people are leaving RS without trying to fight against the current government that is destroying this country, BN TV reported.
"Remember the just struggle of the students of '68. We must not fit into the system; the more of us join the struggle, the more just this state will be," Vukanović said.
The government is not doing what is its constitutional obligation, addressed the citizens, representative Jelena Trivić said.
"My heart is full because I know we will not give up, and this is an honorable struggle," Trivić said, adding that the situation will not change just through elections, but we must work every day for our children.
"No one has the right to intimidate us and poison us," Trivić said and stated “we have three demands”:
"We want the square. The deadline for this demand is the next gathering. We have the right; are tourists more important than human rights? Is anyone more important than the citizens of Banja Luka? We have the right to this and we will not give up. The second demand is related to the environmental disaster and pyralene. Gentlemen, this problem is serious. You are hiding, poisoning people and hiding it. Is this a government for the people?", Trivić said, as reported by BN.
She also said that they invited the mayor of Banja Luka to address the citizens on this issue.
"We demand to see the diplomas of employees in the public sector - that is the third demand. We have MPs who did not even finish high school but bought a doctorate. They have dishonestly taken a position from some young educated person. We will not allow that," Trivić said.
She announced that they are launching a petition and will demand that the Government of Srpska publish a list of all employees and their diplomas.
"These gentlemen, Nikola Špirić and Nebojša Radmanović, have been receiving salaries for ten months without having a single session, and they went to Moscow to talk about parliamentarism. Oh my God," said Draško Stanivuković.
He pointed to the environmental disaster at "Incel".
"The concentration of pyralene in Banja Luka is 3,000 times higher than permitted, and they are secretly transporting pyralene to another location. Pyralene is very dangerous and drastically increases the number of cancer patients," Stanivuković emphasized.
Speaking about the problem of “fake diplomas”, he said that they will demand that a parliamentary decision be made to verify all diplomas in the public sector.
