ZADAR, (Patria) - The final of the tournament in Zadar, the second stop of the Adria Tour, has been cancelled due to the danger of coronavirus infection. The tournament was cancelled after Grigor Dimitrov confirmed he was positive for coronavirus. Dimitrov participated in the tournament in Belgrade and Zadar, and announced on Twitter that he was tested in Monaco where he received a positive result. He warned everyone who had been in contact with him to get tested as soon as possible. Dimitrov is recovering at home.
The organizers made a difficult decision just before the final on the court of SC Višnjik, which was supposed to feature Novak Djokovic and Andrey Rublev. Everyone who had been in close contact with the Bulgarian will be tested as soon as possible.
Serbian tennis player Danilo Petrović continued his brilliant performances in Zadar and defeated local player Marin Čilić on Sunday. Petrović repeated his excellent play from the match with Zverev and beat Čilić 4:2, 4:2.
Danilo confirmed that he is in great form and needed only 40 minutes for another big win.
In each set, he made one break and then routinely finished them.
Čilić recorded all three losses in Zadar.
