SARAJEVO, (Patria) - For the past night, a smaller number of people violating the movement ban from 6 PM to 5 AM has been recorded compared to the previous period, with police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs issuing 32 misdemeanor orders and one request for initiating misdemeanor proceedings against a minor for non-compliance with this ban.
Regarding the number of individuals checked in relation to the imposed self-isolation or isolation measure, police officers of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs checked 1,193 people, of whom 62 were not found at their addresses.
"It is evident that more and more people are complying with this measure, with slightly over 5% not complying, whereas in the earlier period we had about 10% of people not complying. Previously, out of 600-700 people checked, about 60 or more were not complying, and now out of nearly 1,200 checked, about 60 are not complying. Official records were made for individuals found to be non-compliant and immediately submitted to the competent inspection authorities," said Mirza Hadžiabdić from the Public Relations Department of the Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Internal Affairs.
