Ban on visiting fans

The competent bodies of the Football Association discussed the current situation in the FA of BiH in the context of the BiH Cup semi-final matches and the 25th round of the BH Telecom Premier League of BiH, reports the Patria News Agency.

The Competition Committee of the FA of BiH and the Security Committee of the FA of BiH, at a joint extraordinary session held on 04/29/2015, unanimously adopted the following conclusions:

The return matches of the BiH Cup semi-finals HŠK “Zrinjski“ – FK “Olimpic“ and NK “Široki Brijeg“ - FK “Borac“, which will be played today, at the previously determined times, are not postponed.

The organized arrival of visiting fans at the return matches of the Cup in Mostar and Široki Brijeg is prohibited.

HŠK “Zrinjski“ and NK “Široki Brijeg“ are instructed to undertake mandatory measures and activities related to marking the day of mourning in BiH during the aforementioned matches, which include the following:

- a minute of silence before the start of the match,

- flying flags at half-mast,

- observing the code of conduct at the stadium in terms of marking the day of mourning

When adopting these conclusions, the Committees took into account the filled competition calendar until the end of this season, as well as the interests of protecting the regularity of all competitions.

Furthermore, considering the letter from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpska, delivered to the FA/FF BiH on 04/28/2015, which relates to the request to ban the presence of visiting fans in the 25th round of the BH Telecom PL BiH, the aforementioned committees adopted the following conclusions:

It is proposed to the Executive Body of the FA/FF BiH to make an urgent decision to ban the organized departure of visiting fans to the matches of the 25th round of the BH Telecom PL BiH, which will be played on 05/02 and 03/2015.

All organizing clubs of the 25th round matches are instructed to take the necessary measures and activities in order to ensure maximum security conditions at the stadiums.

In accordance with the need for swift action due to the current situation in BiH, the members of the Emergency Committee of the FA/FF BiH considered the proposals of the Competition Committee of the FA/FF BiH and the Security Committee of the FA/FF BiH regarding the matches of the 25th round of the BH Telecom Premier League of BiH, and made the following decision:

The proposal of the Competition Committee of the FA/FF BiH and the Security Committee of the FA/FF BiH is adopted, and the organized departure of visiting fans to the matches of the 25th round of the BH Telecom Premier League is prohibited, with the necessary measures and activities undertaken by the host clubs in the 25th round, in order to ensure maximum security conditions at the stadiums.
