In recent days, information has been circulating in public that the new director of SIPA will allegedly be Zdravko Krsmanović, vice-president of the NDP and a deputy in the National Assembly of the RS, while the leader of this party, Dragan Čavić, also a deputy in the NSRS and the Minister of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
From the top of this party, we learn that these are classic spins, and that Čavić will not go anywhere from Banja Luka, and that Krsmanović, even if he wanted to, cannot be the head of the strongest state police agency, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The leader of the NDP remains in the parliamentary benches, because, as they explained to us, the opposition must have strong people to oppose the rule of Milorad Dodik.
When it comes to Krsmanović and his arrival at the helm of SIPA, it is as clear as day that this is a classic disinformation that many have fallen for, because the director of this agency can only be someone who comes from police structures.
In addition to general conditions, candidates are required to have worked for at least three years in the rank of chief police inspector or higher, and not to be members of a political party. Krsmanović does not meet any of these conditions.
Krsmanović himself, although he knows he does not meet any of these conditions, has actively engaged in this spin story and has started giving statements about how, if he comes to the head of SIPA, he will wield a birch broom.
