15,271 KM for regular street maintenance in Centar

 

Within the regular maintenance of streets in the municipality of Centar Sarajevo, several projects for repairing damage to the roadway and pedestrian paths, as well as installing traffic signs, have been completed, reports the Patria News Agency.

Regular street maintenance is covered by a contract for the repair, reconstruction, and construction of roads in the central Sarajevo municipality, signed on behalf of the Municipality by Mayor Dževad Bećirević with the director of the company “Bosman“ d.o.o. Sunija Jahić.

Workers of the aforementioned construction company removed damaged asphalt in Patriotske lige, Nahorevska, Zaima Šarca, Budakovići, Kemal Begova, Panjina kula, Bolnička, and Humska streets, after which they laid the top wearing course.

In Budakovići, Humska, and Ivana Cankara streets, the lower base course of crushed stone was also laid. The repair of the road structure was also carried out at the junction of Gornji Kartal and Mandrina streets. On this section of the street, in addition to asphalt excavation and the construction of the upper and lower layers, curbs were installed, water manholes were leveled, and two manholes were installed. Damage to the traffic island in Mejtaš street was also repaired.

Linear grates for drainage of rainwater were installed at the junctions of Humska-Bardakčije and Humska-Mehmed beg Kapetanović Ljubušak streets. An access road to residential buildings was built at Čavljak.

Workers of the construction company „Bosman“ installed a traffic sign in Mehmed-paše Sokolovića street near the Catholic School Center. The installation of a traffic sign in this part of the street was praised by our fellow citizens.

15,271 KM was allocated from the budget of the Centar Municipality for the aforementioned works, it was announced from the Centar Municipality.
