Five parties and two independent candidates registered for early elections in RS

(Patria) - In accordance with the Instructions on the deadlines for electoral activities for holding early elections for the president of RS scheduled for Sunday, November 23, the deadline for applications of political parties and independent candidates for participation in the early elections for the president of RS expired today at 4:00 PM.

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of BiH announced that five political parties and two independent candidates have submitted applications to participate in the early elections for the president of RS.

The political parties that have submitted applications are:
‣ Alliance for New Politics;
‣ Ecological Party of Republika Srpska;
‣ For Justice and Order - Nebojša Vukanović List;
‣ Serb Democratic Party; and
‣ Alliance of Independent Social Democrats - SNSD - Milorad Dodik.

The independent candidates who have submitted applications are:
‣ Slavko Dragičević;
‣ Igor Gašević.

The CEC of BiH will review and certify those political parties and independent candidates who meet the legally prescribed conditions.
