6 million KM for agricultural incentives

(Patira) - At the proposal of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, the Government of Zenica-Doboj Canton at today's session adopted the Program for the expenditure of funds from the Budget of Zenica-Doboj Canton for
agricultural incentives for 2025 in the amount of 6,000,000.00 KM for the
implementation of 26 measures and activities from the agricultural sector.

The specified amount includes allocated and planned support for agricultural production (plant and animal), organic production, capital investments for the procurement of machinery, procurement of greenhouses, as well as support for the purchase and processing of agricultural products from the Zenica-Doboj Canton.

- In the 2025 incentive program, priority measures of financial support will be implemented according to the production incentive model and part of the structural policy measures that should contribute to the improvement of agricultural production and increase the volume of agricultural land use, then by linking
primary agricultural producers with processors/buyers,
increasing the purchase of agricultural products and preserving the livestock fund,
all with the aim of stabilizing and mitigating working conditions and preserving
production for our agricultural producers - said the Minister of
Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, Jasmin Čajić.
