Vukanović: Why is Čović silent on Luhrmann's expulsion?

(Patria) - The President of the Movement for Justice and Order, Nebojša Vukanović, has called out the President of the Croatian Democratic Union, Dragan Čović, for his silence following the expulsion of the Minister for Europe in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germany, Anna Luhrmann, from the entity of Republika Srpska.

In a video statement, he stated that he expects the "leader of European values" to make a statement and that he finds it unbelievable that the entire Croatian political bloc in Bosnia and Herzegovina is silent.

In the video statement, Vukanović sharply criticized Milorad Dodik's order to expel Luhrmann from Banja Luka on Friday.

He also said that Germany cannot remain silent about this and that he would not be surprised by new sanctions, including against that part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. He pointed out that Trebinje has already been sanctioned, as a German bank refused to finance a previously agreed project for a dam and hydroelectric power plant near Trebinje.



"It should be said that Čović cannot claim that we are moving forward 'urgently', that he is a 'European', and that he cares about European integration, and then have a secret partnership, as we see behind the scenes with Špirić and Dodik, and obstruct Dodik from continuing to hold levers of power, primarily in the Council of Ministers, the Parliamentary Assembly, and other institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina," Vukanović said.

He also announced that he will not attend the previously scheduled meeting of the opposition from Republika Srpska, the HDZ bloc, and the Trojka, planned for April 10.

In the meantime, the meeting has been postponed...

Vukanović also, completely justifiably but also measuredly, criticized the behavior of the Western international community towards Milorad Dodik.
