Vukanović: One could say I am bringing down both Vučić and Dodik, who like Stalin wants to burn everything so that nothing remains behind him!

(Patria) - Reactions are still ongoing after the verdict of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in which the president of the BiH entity RS, Milorad Dodik, was sentenced to one year in prison and banned from political activity for a period of six years.

After the verdict was pronounced, the President of Serbia also arrived in Banja Luka, offering support to Dodik in his unconstitutional activities. Following Vučić, a few days ago, Andrija Mandić, the President of the Parliament of Montenegro, also came to Banja Luka to provide support to Dodik.

Nebojša Vukanović, a representative in the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska (NSRS), spoke about the current events in BiH and the region on the show 'Investigation of the Week'. At the time of the broadcast, he was on his way from Serbia, where he had attended protests in Niš.

-I was full of impressions. It was difficult to enter Serbia. BIA put me on a special list, and I waited for more than an hour to enter Serbia. I was in Niš at a beautiful event. It is a wonderful, honest Serbian youth that has risen against corruption and the government. These are people who walked for 24 hours, laughing. Such people must bring changes to Serbia. There are few people from RS who support the Serbian students – Vukanović points out.

He says that he has never voted in elections in Serbia so far, even though he holds their citizenship. He believes it is completely logical that they are on the side of those who are against Vučić, because he called them traitors.

-So one could say that I am bringing down both Dodik and Vučić. I have not voted in any elections, even though I have a Serbian passport. After these last local elections, where he called us traitors, where the two of them are the axis, it is logical that we support those who are against Vučić. It was the same when I was in Montenegro. Vučić has no chance against the people. There were over 100,000 at that protest – Vukanović said.

When the opposition in Montenegro united to overthrow Milo Đukanović, Vukanović was on the side of the opposition. He reminds that he was not for Andrija Mandić, who came to Banja Luka a few days ago to show solidarity with Dodik after the verdict of the Court of BiH under which he was convicted.

-I did not support Mandić then, but Milatović. He is Vučić's candidate. We do not need sycophants and Vučić's branches. Everyone has their own policies. When I did an interview with Knežević, when Đukanović arrested him on election day, Vučić was backing Đukanović. That is a fight against a mafia clan. That kind of criminalization of society is not good for anyone – Vukanović says.

He believes that Dodik is losing his compass and is behaving like Stalin when he realized he would fall. He says that today's meeting in Banja Luka of the directors of SIPA and the Service for Foreigners' Affairs with him best speaks about his rule.

-Dodik is losing his compass, and as the end of his rule approaches, he is trying to burn everything like Stalin so that nothing remains behind him. Dodik's result is that he has devastated us like no occupier. If there were a judiciary, he would have been removed in 2010 when foreigners saved him. Look, we don't have a Minister of Security, but I suppose someone will ask them about that. I hope they agreed that SIPA and the RS police will not clash – Vukanović emphasized.
