SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The head coach of the senior men's basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Duško Vujošević, announced a list of 24 players for the fourth cycle of qualifying matches for the 2019 World Cup in China.
The coach's list includes: Nemanja Gordić, Amar Gegić, Adi Zahiragić, Darko Talić, Marko Rikalo, Džanan Musa, Edin Atić, Almir Hasandić, Ibrahim Durmo, Aleksandar Lazić, Nedžad Muratović, Nedim Buza, Adin Vrabac, Milan Milošević, Miralem Halilović, Emir Sulejmanović, Amar Alibegović, Ajdin Penava, Andrija Stipanović, Elmedin Kikanović, Markus Lončar, Jusuf Nurkić, Robert Rikić, and Obrad Tomić.
Coach Vujošević expressed his hope that he will have the complete squad available in this cycle.
- I came to BiH despite significant resistance that my decision encountered outside of BiH. I appeal to all people who are in any way involved in the functioning of the Basketball Federation of BiH, and also those who are not, to actively and as a team engage in an effort to ensure that we have the complete playing squad available for the upcoming actions and the best possible conditions for preparation - Vujošević told the official website of the BiH Basketball Federation.
Our national team will play against Finland away on September 13, and then at home on September 16 against the Czech Republic.
