
(Patria) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina (VSTV BiH) during its session held on September 3 and 4, 2025 in Sarajevo, made a decision on the appointment of holders of judicial functions in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
At the level of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the following were appointed:
Šaćir Hadžić, to the position of Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Central Bosnia Canton;
Alma Bijedić, to the position of Judge of the Cantonal Court in Zenica;
Elma Brčić Rožajac, to the position of Judge of the Cantonal Court in Mostar;
Petrunjela Matijević, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton;
Sanja Karić, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton;
Habrin Porobić, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton;
Suvad Butković, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton;
Merisa Softić, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton;
Bojan Vuković, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton;
Jasminka Hasanhodžić, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Tuzla Canton;
Vladimir Ašanin, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Zenica-Doboj Canton;
Tehirza Jakupović, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Una-Sana Canton;
Draško Kutić, to the position of Prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of the Central Bosnia Canton.
In making the Decision on Appointment, VSTV BiH took into account criteria such as: professional knowledge, work experience and work results; professional ability based on previous career results; ability to perform duties within the function for which they are applying impartially, conscientiously, diligently, decisively and responsibly; relationships with colleagues, conduct outside work, professional impartiality and reputation, and experience in managerial positions.
In the appointment process, VSTV BiH applies relevant constitutional provisions regulating equal rights and representation of constituent peoples and others, and respects balanced gender representation.
