(Patria) - Floods that hit parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina yesterday continued to cause problems for citizens today. In some places, stagnation and even a drop in water levels were recorded, but in other areas, the water continues to make life difficult for those fighting for their homes.
The President of the Muslim Charity Organization 'Merhamet', Kenan Vrbanjac, and the directors of Merhamet's regional boards are on the ground to assess the situation in the flooded areas.
After that, they will react appropriately according to the situation by providing emergency assistance, primarily in the form of water, food, and hygiene products.
'Merhamet bore a huge burden in assisting and accommodating the endangered population during the catastrophic floods that hit our country in May 2014. It will react in the same way this time, in accordance with the needs and the situation on the ground,' Vrbanjac told Patria.
