Train hits truck in Živinice: One person injured

(Patria) - One person was injured this morning in Živinice in a collision between a train and a truck, confirmed the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton.

The traffic accident occurred this morning shortly before 8:00 AM in the Maline settlement of Živinice, at a railway crossing where a train and a truck collided.

“The driver of the freight motor vehicle sustained injuries and was transported to the Public Health Institution University Clinical Center Tuzla for medical assistance. An investigation at the scene was conducted by police officers of the Živinice Police Administration, who are working to determine all circumstances of this traffic accident,” the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Tuzla Canton announced.

Otherwise, eight traffic accidents were recorded in the Tuzla Canton area in the past 24 hours. In one accident in Doboj Istok, one person died, while a total of five people were injured.
