Vojin, known as 'the percentage': Who are Mijatović's extremists creating a unitary Bosniak Bosnia and Herzegovina?

Written by: Rasim Belko

Here he is, Vojin Mijatović. Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of the Federation, about whose work little is said, even less is known. And what do such people do? They talk about secessionism, terrorism, extremism and unitarism. Although it has never been confirmed anywhere that Vojin Mijatović is not a project installed from outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, what we certainly know is that the results of his work are invisible.

What we also know is that Vojin Mijatović is a prototype of the post-Yugoslav communist mold, who in alleged political confrontations attacks along religious lines while talking about civil society and the state.

As soon as someone accuses him of any failure, there he is with a story about Jamahiriya and Milorad Dodik. Because, it is obvious that pamphlet propaganda is the only thing he knows. So today, from the pages of media close to the regime, Mijatović tells us about Bosniak unitarism and Dodik's separatism.

This is the minister's response to a remark by Nermin Ogrešević (NES) that he denied a project to those who did not support him on his path to becoming minister. It concerns the swimming pool project in Cazin, for which three million KM was planned, then cut by the budget rebalance.

And instead of answering why he removed the funds, Mijatović, in the manner of comrades from Belgrade, says: "To break the wet dreams of both Dodik and you, never, ever will the Republika Srpska be independent, and never, ever will you turn Bosnia and Herzegovina into a unitary Bosniak state! Both Dodik and you are extremes, and this society is slowly rising against your policies. Make your little coffee-cup states, Orthodox and Muslim Jamahiriya, somewhere else, not in our Bosnia and Herzegovina, and as one man said about your and Dodik's patriotism, it was best said, and will be said, by the Sky app," said Vojin Mijatović.

Who, Minister Mijatović, is creating a unitary Bosniak Bosnia and Herzegovina? Which policy advocates for that and where? Are you thinking, Mijatović, of the term "civic state"? Didn't you claim to be 100 percent Serb, 101 percent Bosnian? Those who knew how to read what you were saying in time understood that you are indeed 100 percent Serb and one percent Bosnian. Which you also secretly conveyed.

Why do you never say who is creating a unitary Muslim Jamahiriya? Who dreams of it, ultimately, Minister Mijatović? Which extremists dream of a little Muslim state?

There are none, Mijatović, because those you call Muslim extremists and Bosniak unitarists defended and liberated this country, preserving all its religious and historical sites. They did not look at which religion or which history, they did not choose, they defended Bosnia and Herzegovina as it was and as it will be. And the liberators of this country did not do that to become ministers, but so that your political comrades, Mladić's "fighters," would not rape their sisters, kill their children. And therefore you have no right, to be clearer, you MUST NEVER put your former boss, the separatist Dodik, in the same basket with those who oppose that separatism with a story about a unified and functional Bosnia and Herzegovina. Because, if you see the story of such a Bosnia and Herzegovina as unitarist and extremist, then you have no place even in the collapsed SDP, but in the SNSD or perhaps the HDZ. Maybe you are 102 percent Croat, who knows, it probably all depends on the position.

The fact that you carried the flag of Bosnia and Herzegovina around Kastel, celebrated Statehood Day and the like, obviously served only the purpose of getting your hands on political benefits, while you pushed Mladić's godfathers into the pro-Bosnian national team, and then, in collusion with them, delivered enough delegates to Dodik to govern the state.

And now you talk against Dodik? There are no more, Minister Mijatović. There is no one left who would believe your story about Bosnianhood! Fortunately for all of us, the illusion of you as the new hope of politics for Europe was shattered in time.

And you are aware of that, that's why you spout nonsense about a Bosniak Jamahiriya, because you are afraid that this is your last political "success." You are afraid, because you can no longer sell the story of Bosnianhood as the only agenda in political struggle to anyone serious.

And yes, the fact that you cut funds from Krajina perhaps best shows who and how politically educated you. Because Krajina was and remains the bulwark due to which January 9 is not celebrated throughout this state. And how did you put it: "People in the RS will celebrate January 9 regardless of the Constitutional Court's decisions, and I agree with that." Maybe then you were one hundred percent Serb, one hundred one percent Ravnogorac.

Who knows with you, those percentages vary depending on the position. Therefore, drop the story about extremism, we might think that the BIA is billing you for some earlier debts. Guard your mandate, there are still three years left. And hang Christian Schmidt somewhere in a visible place, just so you can remind yourself that your trick about being 100 percent Serb and 101 percent Bosnian didn't work.
