About 200 workers from the footwear factory „Aida“, „Livnica čelika“ and „Dite“ set off on foot from Tuzla this morning towards the Orašje border crossing, intending to, as they stated, leave Bosnia and Herzegovina forever, reports the Patria news agency.
On the way to Šićki Brod, they will be joined by workers from “Konjuh“ from Živinice.
Hasan Užičanin, vice president of the union of workers of the footwear factory “Aida“, said that the workers have nothing more to say, because they have been sending messages for three months, but no one listened to them.
The workers of failed companies from Tuzla Canton decided on this desperate move because the authorities, despite numerous demands made at protests, showed no understanding for their problems.
