ZDK Government supports the realization of the project for the construction of the Museum of the Third Corps of the Army of RBiH

(Patria) - A working consultative meeting was held in the premises of the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) between Minister Adnan Sirovica and a delegation of the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH.

The BiH AF delegation was led by General Faruk Ganić, and the meeting was also attended by members of the Coordination of Basic Veterans' Organizations of ZDK, led by president Nazim Bećirović, as well as architect Sabina Hodžić.

The central topic of the meeting was the construction of a museum of memory culture of the Third Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which will have lasting value in preserving historical memory and the culture of remembrance of the struggle and sacrifice of the members of the Army of RBiH.

Discussions were held on the preparations for the development of the main project, as well as on the organization of the event "Day of the Third Corps of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina", and other significant dates celebrated in the ZDK region.

Minister Sirovica emphasized that the Ministry for Veterans' Affairs of ZDK fully financed the development of the conceptual design for the museum's construction, which confirms the commitment of the canton's institutions to actively work on preserving memory and dignified commemoration of historical dates.

General Ganić expressed the readiness of the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the Armed Forces of BiH to provide full support for the project's realization, highlighting the museum's importance as a place for gathering, education, and shared memory.

The participants of the meeting agreed that the construction of the museum is not only an infrastructural but also a social project of particular importance for citizens, the veteran population, and future generations.

It was concluded that intensive activities will continue in the coming period on the development of the main project and the provision of necessary conditions for its further realization.
