ZDK Government Approves Funds for Purchase of New CT Scanner

(Patria) - The Government of the Zenica-Doboj Canton, at a session chaired by Prime Minister Nezir Pivić, adopted several decisions on approving funds for the Zenica Cantonal Hospital, including a decision on the procurement of a CT scanner worth 2,339,941.50 BAM.

In addition to the CT scanner, the Cantonal Hospital was also approved funds for the procurement of a transport container/tank, a SPECT camera, as well as to cover the costs of construction works and the procurement of medical and non-medical equipment in 2024.

- This is confirmation that we are not only committed to building the New Cantonal Hospital, but that we are simultaneously purchasing modern devices needed for better prevention and treatment of citizens - said Prime Minister Pivić.

The Government also approved incentive funds for agricultural producers in the amount of 438,940 BAM. Of that, projects of 22 registered business entities were supported with 300,000.00 BAM, while 12 poultry farmers received incentives for keeping laying hens in the amount of 138,940.00 BAM, or 2.00 BAM per chick.

Funds in the amount of 91,884.20 BAM were also approved for sustainable return projects in the municipalities of Vareš, Maglaj and Žepče.
